Nintendo Japan confirmed it will launch a new game console(codenamed “Project Café) in early of 2012. A playable model and more specifications will be announced at the E3 Expo, which will be held June 7-9, in Los Angeles. However, Wii 2 is NOT the name to this new console.
According to IGN’s sources, Nintendo’s next console could retail from anywhere from $350 to $400 based on manufacturing costs and will ship from Taiwanese manufacturer, Foxconn. This console believes will be more powerful than the Xbox 360 and PS 3, and compatible with the current Wii Software.
